Thought for today…. 15/09/16

Often we can find ourselves caught up in the despair of the daily grind, or particular struggles we are experiencing. But as the Greek Myth of Sisyphus reminds us, if we learn to focus on wonder and gratitude in our struggles, they may seem more bearable, and in fact our level of happiness and joy might increase. A client of mine shared this myth with me yesterday when he realized that his misery about work perhaps could be reduced if he started practicing #gratitude daily in order to find happiness within his #dailygrind … I’m going to take a leaf out of Sisyphus’ book today and try to find wonder and gratitude in the small aspects of my day that I would usually view as unpleasant.
